Create a Product set

Product sets let you select specific products based on your catalog structure (categories and sub-categories) and facets. You can also use the import feature to target specific products based on their SKUs.

The product sets you create in the Merchandising section can be added to a content page on your website.

For example, could select specific products in a sub category and a in a facet result such as Shoes and a Black. From this Product Set, you could then create a content page that would only display specific black shoes.

Creating a Product Set

1. Open the Merchandising module
2. In the tree view, select the Product Set tree.
3. Click Add Product Set in the top toolbar.
4. Enter the Product Set name.
5. Click Finish.

The Edit Product Set window appears.

6. Select categories, sub-categories and/or facets to refine the Product Set results.
7. Select the products by click the check box in the product tile.
8. Click Add.
9. Click Save to save your modifications.

Creating a product set using a list of Skus

1. Open the Merchandising module
2. In the tree view, select the Product Set tree.
3. Click Add Product Set in the top toolbar.
4. Enter the Product Set name.
5. Click Finish.

The Edit Product Set window appears.

6. Click Import SKUs.
7. Enter the list of SKUs you want to add to the Product Set.
8. Select an Import Behavior (adding or existing).
9. Click Save to save your modifications.

When your Product Set is created, you can add it to a page using the Component button in the Content module. You can either display the Product Set as a Full Query Result Page or as a Dynamic Product Highlight. For more information about adding Product Sets to a content page, see Add Product Sets.

Full Query Result Page: The content page displays products as a category page does.
Dynamic Product Highlight: Displays a snippet of product with a Read More link. The Dynamic Product Highlight component can be used as a “You may also like”.
